Memorable Experiences in VSU

My Life in Visayas State University

The Visayas State University is a premier university in the Philippines located at the city Baybay, Leyte, Philippines. It is one of the leading universities in Southeast Asia for research in agriculture.

VSU is located on One of the last remaining virgin rain forests in the Philippines.

From the first day of school in my first year college level until now that I’m still here in Visayas State University I can really say that lots of things that I had experienced that I have never encountered before in my entire life. And there’s one thing that I will never forget and it’s walking from one building to another because the classrooms are so far apart from the next subject.

That’s why I really get tired on getting up and down the stairs. Also I bring big bag like “Dora” because I bring two uniforms one is the college education uniform then two is the major uniform. But because of my patience and perseverance despite of my laziness I overcome this by thinking the positive side. I just take it as an exercise that will help my body stay healthy. It’s not hard for me to do that and adjust because VSU is an eco-friendly University where stress will sometimes help you out and forget that for a while and enjoy.

My life and also I experience here in VSU of having big eye bugs because of studying for a quiz or exam because the subject gives pressure and Lots of things to be done. But it’s okay because VSU provide a better learning. Our teachers are really good and they teach us well. Sometimes, idon’t like instructor’s act as a terror that’s why even if how big and hard are my sacrifices, it will not matter a lot for me for as long as I am really learning. I would really do everything.

3rd year mapeh major class subject MAPE121 Fundamental Rhythms a dance bibliography contest. We are the group 2 winner.

MAPEH Majors was planning to have a field trip to some destinations and has water activities. It was beyond the month of April that was planning. Majority of the class choose Agta Beach Resort at Almeria, Biliran from all the places which have been choose. The class chooses it to experience different water activities and to go to Galutan Island.

Our professor  Mr. Vicente B. Antipaso and with the help of bobby, joel and company  they really strive to pursue this field trip in order to attain one’s satisfaction. The field trip was dated on May 11-12, 2013. This is one of the requirements of the course. In addition, our professors as well give an itinerary of travel as guide for us in some activities that we do. As time goes by, the field trip was approved by the president Dr. Jose L. Bacusmo. The class was really, excited and wants to experience water activities. From the planning itself, I can truly say that it is a hard work by each one of them and helping one another is a must to attain such things that are necessary.

As a student of MAPE 113 Aquatics (swimming and other water activities), I have many lessons learned in this subject. First, I learned kayaking and boat paddling. Second, I learned the different strokes in swimming, third, I learned to value friendship because they are the one that makes me happy and they are always there to comfort and can shoulder one. Fourth, I learned the beauty of the nature because it is the one that makes tourism to the place. Lastly, I learned to save people from drowning to save their lives.

This one is a photo a subject of MAPE111 Team sport; choose of basketball, softball and volleyball. Hmmm..(mgahaggard_facepana?) I experience how to play different team sports.

This photo from mapeh majors is one of our major subjects “Solfeggio and Piano” We all present a different piece for me is “crazy for you” then nesty teach me how to present this pieceJ..
I learned how to play some musical instrument like playing the piano, thanks to Sir Joselle C. Cayetano.

My life in Visayas State University as a student, as experience, life all happen only in VSU and however, dreams may not serve any purpose at all but be merely a meaning.
